Gary founded Quentin Ayers in 1994. Gary plays an active role in investment research, due diligence and deal execution and is a member of the Investment Committee. He takes a special interest in working with clients to develop appropriate investment strategies supported by extensive scenario modelling.
Gary is one of Australia’s most experienced asset consultants, particularly in the area of private equity and alternative assets. He has been advising large superannuation funds continuously for over 20 years. Prior to joining Quentin Ayers, Gary was a senior asset consultant with Towers Perrin after being a venture capital investment manager and before that an investment banker with a predecessor of UBS Warburg.
Gary holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) from The University of Adelaide, an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management and completed his studies at the New York University Stern School of Business.
